How It Works

The fundamental process flow of the STI solution is simple:

A healthcare professional, a pharmacist, or even the manufacturer, distributes a uniquely and securely coded smart card to a patient. The patient gives the easily recognizable card to the pharmacist along with their prescription. Once the pharmacist enters the card into the pharmacy system, the transaction is anonymized and securely routed to the STI technology platform.  Sophisticated rules are then applied in real-time to determine the exact benefit the patient receives. Payment is immediate and accurate.

Wrapped around the engine of the technology platform is a rich set of applications, such as reporting, patient management systems, software, mobile apps, and predictive forecasting.
