History

Founded on over 60 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, STI began in 2001 with a vision to provide a more effective way for the industry to implement drug sampling programs.  Early success led the company to leverage its SmartTechnology platform in order to invent and deliver innovative marketing solutions to the Canadian health care industry. Focusing on using transactions and reimbursement as the source of real-time intelligence allows all of the players (pharma, pharmacy, prescriber, and payer) to optimize their patient relationships.

As a testament to the innovative spirit at STI, Bill Adams received the prestigious 2008 Manning Innovation Award for his work that founded the company.

Since its founding, STI has delivered over 300 programs and can count 60 of the top 70 pharmaceutical and device manufacturing companies in Canada as its customers.  Our pharmacy relationships give us reach to virtually every pharmacy in Canada with thousands of transactions being processed by STI on any given day of the year.

From its early heritage in helping to change and improve on how the Canadian pharmaceutical industry does sampling, STI now provides a broad set of solutions across the life cycle of the brand, ranging from physician experience programs for newly launched drugs to loss of exclusivity programs for drugs coming off patent, and everything in-between.
